بِسۡمِ ٱللَّهِ ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ ٱلرَّحِيمِ
بِسْمِ اللّٰهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ
Ruku 1 of 1 · 5 Ayahs
Seeking Protection from External Harms 1–5
قُلۡقُلْSay
أَعُوذُاَعُوْذُI seek refuge
بِرَبِّin (the) Lord
ٱلۡفَلَقِالْفَلَقِ(of) the dawn
Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak
مِنمِنْFrom
شَرِّ(the) evil
مَا(of) what
خَلَقَHe created
From the evil of that which He created
وَمِنوَمِنْAnd from
شَرِّ(the) evil
غَاسِقٍ(of) darkness
إِذَااِذَاwhen
وَقَبَit spreads
And from the evil of darkness when it settles
وَمِنوَمِنْAnd from
شَرِّ(the) evil
ٱلنَّفَّٰثَٰتِالنَّفّٰثٰتِ(of) the blowers
فِيin
ٱلۡعُقَدِالْعُقَدِthe knots
And from the evil of the blowers in knots
وَمِنوَمِنْAnd from
شَرِّ(the) evil
حَاسِدٍ(of) an envier
إِذَااِذَاwhen
حَسَدَhe envies
And from the evil of an envier when he envies."
1 Say, "I seek refuge in the Lord of daybreak 2 From the evil of that which He created 3 And from the evil of darkness when it settles 4 And from the evil of the blowers in knots 5 And from the evil of an envier when he envies."
