Ayah 1

1. ٱلۡقَارِعَةُاَلْقَارِعَةُThe Striking CalamityNominative · مَرْفُوع

The Striking Calamity -

Ayah 2

What is the Striking Calamity?

Ayah 3

1. وَمَآوَمَا͏ٓAnd whatInterrogative noun · اِسْم اِسْتِفْهَام
2. أَدۡرَىٰكَاَدْرٰىكَwill make you knowPerfect · Form IV
3. مَاwhatInterrogative noun · اِسْم اِسْتِفْهَام
4. ٱلۡقَارِعَةُالْقَارِعَةُ(is) the Striking CalamityNominative · مَرْفُوع

And what can make you know what is the Striking Calamity?

Ayah 4

1. يَوۡمَيَوْمَ(The) DayAccusative · مَنْصُوب
2. يَكُونُيَكُوْنُwill beImperfect · Form I
3. ٱلنَّاسُالنَّاسُthe mankindNominative · مَرْفُوع
4. كَٱلۡفَرَاشِكَالْفَرَاشِlike mothsGenitive · مَجْرُور
5. ٱلۡمَبۡثُوثِالْمَبْثُوْثِscatteredGenitive · مَجْرُور

It is the Day when people will be like moths, dispersed,

Ayah 5

1. وَتَكُونُوَتَكُوْنُAnd will beImperfect · Form I
2. ٱلۡجِبَالُالْجِبَالُthe mountainsNominative · مَرْفُوع
3. كَٱلۡعِهۡنِكَالْعِهْنِlike woolGenitive · مَجْرُور
4. ٱلۡمَنفُوشِالْمَنْفُوْشِfluffed upGenitive · مَجْرُور

And the mountains will be like wool, fluffed up.

The Weighing of Deeds 6–11

Ayah 6

1. فَأَمَّافَاَمَّاThen as forExplanation Harf · حَرْف تَفْصِيل
2. مَنمَنْ(him) whoseConditional noun · اِسْم شَرْط
3. ثَقُلَتۡثَقُلَتْ(are) heavyPerfect · Form I
4. مَوَٰزِينُهُۥمَوَازِيْنُهٗhis scalesNominative · مَرْفُوع

Then as for one whose scales are heavy [with good deeds],

Ayah 7

1. فَهُوَThen hePronoun · ضَمِير
2. فِيفِيْ(will be) inPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
3. عِيشَةٖعِيْشَةٍa lifeGenitive · مَجْرُور
4. رَّاضِيَةٖرَّاضِيَةٍpleasantGenitive · مَجْرُور

He will be in a pleasant life.

Ayah 8

1. وَأَمَّاوَاَمَّاBut as forExplanation Harf · حَرْف تَفْصِيل
2. مَنۡمَنْ(him) whoseConditional noun · اِسْم شَرْط
3. خَفَّتۡخَفَّتْ(are) lightPerfect · Form I
4. مَوَٰزِينُهُۥمَوَازِيْنُهٗhis scalesNominative · مَرْفُوع

But as for one whose scales are light,

Ayah 9

1. فَأُمُّهُۥفَاُمُّهٗHis abodeNominative · مَرْفُوع
2. هَاوِيَةٞهَاوِيَةٌ(will be the) PitNominative · مَرْفُوع

His refuge will be an abyss.

Ayah 10

1. وَمَآوَمَا͏ٓAnd whatInterrogative noun · اِسْم اِسْتِفْهَام
2. أَدۡرَىٰكَاَدْرٰىكَwill make you knowPerfect · Form IV
3. مَاwhatInterrogative noun · اِسْم اِسْتِفْهَام

And what can make you know what that is?

Ayah 11

1. نَارٌA FireNominative · مَرْفُوع
2. حَامِيَةُۢحَامِيَةٌintensely hotNominative · مَرْفُوع

It is a Fire, intensely hot.
