The Pure Oneness of Allah 1–4

Ayah 1

1. قُلۡقُلْSayImperative · Form I
2. هُوَHePronoun · ضَمِير
3. ٱللَّهُاللّٰهُ(is) AllahNominative · مَرْفُوع
4. أَحَدٌاَحَدٌthe OneNominative · مَرْفُوع

Say, "He is Allāh, [who is] One,

Ayah 2

1. ٱللَّهُاَللّٰهُAllahNominative · مَرْفُوع
2. ٱلصَّمَدُالصَّمَدُthe Eternal, the AbsoluteNominative · مَرْفُوع

Allāh, the Eternal Refuge.

Ayah 3

1. لَمۡلَمْNotNegative Harf · حَرْف نَفْي
2. يَلِدۡيَلِدْ࣢ۙHe begetsImperfect · Form I
3. وَلَمۡوَلَمْand notNegative Harf · حَرْف نَفْي
4. يُولَدۡيُوْلَدْHe is begottenImperfect · Form I

He neither begets nor is born,

Ayah 4

1. وَلَمۡوَلَمْAnd notNegative Harf · حَرْف نَفْي
2. يَكُنيَكُنْisImperfect · Form I
3. لَّهُۥلَّهٗfor HimPronoun · ضَمِير
4. كُفُوًاequivalentAccusative · مَنْصُوب
5. أَحَدُۢاَحَدٌany [one]Nominative · مَرْفُوع

Nor is there to Him any equivalent."
