Ayah 1 الٓرۚ ال࢜رٰࣞ Alif Laam Ra Quranic initials · حُرُوف مُقَطَّعَة كِتَٰبٌ كِتٰبٌ A Book Nominative · مَرْفُوع أَنزَلۡنَٰهُ اَنْزَلْنٰهُ which We have revealed Perfect · Form IV إِلَيۡكَ اِلَيْكَ to you Preposition · حَرْف جَرّ لِتُخۡرِجَ لِتُخْرِجَ so that you may bring out Imperfect · Form IV ٱلنَّاسَ النَّاسَ the mankind Accusative · مَنْصُوب مِنَ from Preposition · حَرْف جَرّ ٱلظُّلُمَٰتِ الظُّلُمٰتِ the darkness[es] Genitive · مَجْرُور إِلَى اِلَي to Preposition · حَرْف جَرّ ٱلنُّورِ النُّوْرِۙ the light Genitive · مَجْرُور بِإِذۡنِ بِاِذْنِ by the permission Genitive · مَجْرُور رَبِّهِمۡ رَبِّهِمْ (of) their Lord Genitive · مَجْرُور إِلَىٰ اِلٰي to Preposition · حَرْف جَرّ صِرَٰطِ صِرَاطِ the Path Genitive · مَجْرُور ٱلۡعَزِيزِ الْعَزِيْزِ (of) the All-Mighty Genitive · مَجْرُور ٱلۡحَمِيدِ الْحَمِيْدِ the Praiseworthy Genitive · مَجْرُور Alif, Lām, Rā. [This is] a Book which We have revealed to you, [O Muḥammad], that you might bring mankind out of darknesses into the light by permission of their Lord - to the path of the Exalted in Might, the Praiseworthy -
Ayah 2 ٱللَّهِ اللّٰهِ Allah Genitive · مَجْرُور ٱلَّذِي الَّذِيْ (is) the One Relative pronoun · اِسْم مَوْصُول لَهُۥ لَهٗ to Him (belongs) Pronoun · ضَمِير مَا whatever Relative pronoun · اِسْم مَوْصُول فِي (is) in Preposition · حَرْف جَرّ ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِ السَّمٰوٰتِ the heavens Genitive · مَجْرُور وَمَا and whatever Relative pronoun · اِسْم مَوْصُول فِي (is) in Preposition · حَرْف جَرّ ٱلۡأَرۡضِۗ الْاَرْضِؕ the earth Genitive · مَجْرُور وَوَيۡلٞ وَوَيْلٌ And woe Nominative · مَرْفُوع لِّلۡكَٰفِرِينَ لِّلْكٰفِرِيْنَ to the disbelievers Genitive · مَجْرُور مِنۡ مِنْ from Preposition · حَرْف جَرّ عَذَابٖ عَذَابٍ the punishment Genitive · مَجْرُور شَدِيدٍ شَدِيْدِ severe Genitive · مَجْرُور Allāh, to whom belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. And woe [i.e., destruction] to the disbelievers from a severe punishment -
Ayah 3 ٱلَّذِينَ اࣙلَّذِيْنَ Those who Relative pronoun · اِسْم مَوْصُول يَسۡتَحِبُّونَ يَسْتَحِبُّوْنَ love more Imperfect · Form X ٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ الْحَيٰوةَ the life Accusative · مَنْصُوب ٱلدُّنۡيَا الدُّنْيَا (of) the world Accusative · مَنْصُوب عَلَى عَلَي than Preposition · حَرْف جَرّ ٱلۡأٓخِرَةِ الْاٰخِرَةِ the Hereafter Genitive · مَجْرُور وَيَصُدُّونَ وَيَصُدُّوْنَ and hinder Imperfect · Form I عَن عَنْ from Preposition · حَرْف جَرّ سَبِيلِ سَبِيْلِ (the) Path Genitive · مَجْرُور ٱللَّهِ اللّٰهِ (of) Allah Genitive · مَجْرُور وَيَبۡغُونَهَا وَيَبْغُوْنَهَا and seek in it Imperfect · Form I عِوَجًاۚ عِوَجًاؕ crookedness Accusative · مَنْصُوب أُوْلَٰٓئِكَ اُولٰ࢜ىِٕكَ those Demonstrative · اِسْم إِشَارَة فِي فِيْ [in] Preposition · حَرْف جَرّ ضَلَٰلِۭ ضَلٰلٍۭ (are) far astray Genitive · مَجْرُور بَعِيدٖ بَعِيْدٍ (are) far astray Genitive · مَجْرُور The ones who prefer the worldly life over the Hereafter and avert [people] from the way of Allāh, seeking to make it [seem] deviant. Those are in extreme error.
