The Prophet's Grief 1–6

Ayah 1

1. طسٓمٓطٰس࢜مّ࢜Ta Seem MeemQuranic initials · حُرُوف مُقَطَّعَة

Ṭā, Seen, Meem.

Ayah 2

1. تِلۡكَتِلْكَTheseDemonstrative · اِسْم إِشَارَة
2. ءَايَٰتُاٰيٰتُ(are the) VersesNominative · مَرْفُوع
3. ٱلۡكِتَٰبِالْكِتٰبِ(of) the BookGenitive · مَجْرُور
4. ٱلۡمُبِينِالْمُبِيْنِclearGenitive · مَجْرُور

These are the verses of the clear Book.

Ayah 3

1. لَعَلَّكَPerhaps youAccusative Harf · حَرْف نَصْب
2. بَٰخِعٞبَاخِعٌ(would) killNominative · مَرْفُوع
3. نَّفۡسَكَنَّفْسَكَyourselfAccusative · مَنْصُوب
4. أَلَّااَلَّاthat notSubordinating Harf · حَرْف مَصْدَرِيّ
5. يَكُونُواْيَكُوْنُوْاthey becomeImperfect · Form I
6. مُؤۡمِنِينَمُو͏ٔ͏ْمِنِيْنَbelieversAccusative · مَنْصُوب

Perhaps, [O Muḥammad], you would kill yourself with grief that they will not be believers.

Ayah 4

1. إِناِنْIfConditional Harf · حَرْف شَرْط
2. نَّشَأۡنَّشَاْWe willImperfect · Form I
3. نُنَزِّلۡنُنَزِّلْWe can send downImperfect · Form II
4. عَلَيۡهِمعَلَيْهِمْto themPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
5. مِّنَfromPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
6. ٱلسَّمَآءِالسَّمَا࢜ءِthe skyGenitive · مَجْرُور
7. ءَايَةٗاٰيَةًa SignAccusative · مَنْصُوب
8. فَظَلَّتۡفَظَلَّتْso would bendPerfect · Form I
9. أَعۡنَٰقُهُمۡاَعْنَاقُهُمْtheir necksNominative · مَرْفُوع
10. لَهَاto itPronoun · ضَمِير
11. خَٰضِعِينَخٰضِعِيْنَ(in) humilityAccusative · مَنْصُوب

If We willed, We could send down to them from the sky a sign for which their necks would remain humbled.

Ayah 5

1. وَمَاAnd (does) notNegative Harf · حَرْف نَفْي
2. يَأۡتِيهِميَاْتِيْهِمْcome to themImperfect · Form I
3. مِّنمِّنْanyPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
4. ذِكۡرٖذِكْرٍreminderGenitive · مَجْرُور
5. مِّنَfromPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
6. ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِالرَّحْمٰنِthe Most GraciousGenitive · مَجْرُور
7. مُحۡدَثٍمُحْدَثٍnewGenitive · مَجْرُور
8. إِلَّااِلَّاbutRestriction Harf · أَدَاة حَصْر
9. كَانُواْكَانُوْاtheyPerfect · Form I
10. عَنۡهُعَنْهُfrom itPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
11. مُعۡرِضِينَمُعْرِضِيْنَturn awayAccusative · مَنْصُوب

And no mention [i.e., revelation] comes to them anew from the Most Merciful except that they turn away from it.

Ayah 6

1. فَقَدۡفَقَدْSo verilyHarf of certainty · حَرْف تَحْقِيق
2. كَذَّبُواْكَذَّبُوْاthey have deniedPerfect · Form II
3. فَسَيَأۡتِيهِمۡفَسَيَاْتِيْهِمْthen will come to themImperfect · Form I
4. أَنۢبَٰٓؤُاْاَنۢ͏ْبٰ࢜و͏ٔ͏ُاthe newsNominative · مَرْفُوع
5. مَا(of) whatRelative pronoun · اِسْم مَوْصُول
6. كَانُواْكَانُوْاthey usedPerfect · Form I
7. بِهِۦبِهٖat itPronoun · ضَمِير
8. يَسۡتَهۡزِءُونَيَسْتَهْزِءُوْنَ(to) mockImperfect · Form X

For they have already denied, but there will come to them the news of that which they used to ridicule.

Signs in the Plants 7–9

Ayah 7

1. أَوَلَمۡاَوَلَمْDo notNegative Harf · حَرْف نَفْي
2. يَرَوۡاْيَرَوْاthey seeImperfect · Form I
3. إِلَىاِلَيatPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
4. ٱلۡأَرۡضِالْاَرْضِthe earth Genitive · مَجْرُور

6. أَنۢبَتۡنَااَنۢ͏ْبَتْنَاWe producedPerfect · Form IV

8. مِنمِنْofPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
9. كُلِّeveryGenitive · مَجْرُور
10. زَوۡجٖزَوْجٍkindGenitive · مَجْرُور
11. كَرِيمٍكَرِيْمٍnobleGenitive · مَجْرُور

Did they not look at the earth - how much We have produced therein from every noble kind?

Ayah 8

1. إِنَّاِنَّIndeedAccusative Harf · حَرْف نَصْب
2. فِيفِيْinPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
3. ذَٰلِكَذٰلِكَthatDemonstrative · اِسْم إِشَارَة
4. لَأٓيَةٗۖلَاٰيَةًؕsurely (is) a signAccusative · مَنْصُوب
5. وَمَاbut notNegative Harf · حَرْف نَفْي
6. كَانَarePerfect · Form I
7. أَكۡثَرُهُماَكْثَرُهُمْmost of themNominative · مَرْفُوع
8. مُّؤۡمِنِينَمُّو͏ٔ͏ْمِنِيْنَbelieversAccusative · مَنْصُوب

Indeed in that is a sign, but most of them were not to be believers.
