Ayah 1 تَبَٰرَكَ تَبٰرَكَ Blessed is Perfect · Form VI ٱلَّذِي الَّذِيْ He Relative pronoun · اِسْم مَوْصُول بِيَدِهِ in Whose Hand Genitive · مَجْرُور ٱلۡمُلۡكُ الْمُلْكُؗ (is) the Dominion Nominative · مَرْفُوع وَهُوَ and He Pronoun · ضَمِير عَلَىٰ عَلٰي (is) over Preposition · حَرْف جَرّ كُلِّ every Genitive · مَجْرُور شَيۡءٖ شَيْءٍ thing Genitive · مَجْرُور قَدِيرٌ قَدِيْرُ All-Powerful Nominative · مَرْفُوع Blessed is He in whose hand is dominion, and He is over all things competent -
Ayah 2 ٱلَّذِي اࣙلَّذِيْ The One Who Relative pronoun · اِسْم مَوْصُول خَلَقَ created Perfect · Form I ٱلۡمَوۡتَ الْمَوْتَ death Accusative · مَنْصُوب وَٱلۡحَيَوٰةَ وَالْحَيٰوةَ and life Accusative · مَنْصُوب لِيَبۡلُوَكُمۡ لِيَبْلُوَكُمْ that He may test you Imperfect · Form I أَيُّكُمۡ اَيُّكُمْ which of you Nominative · مَرْفُوع أَحۡسَنُ اَحْسَنُ (is) best Nominative · مَرْفُوع عَمَلٗاۚ عَمَلًاؕ (in) deed Accusative · مَنْصُوب وَهُوَ And He Pronoun · ضَمِير ٱلۡعَزِيزُ الْعَزِيْزُ (is) the All-Mighty Nominative · مَرْفُوع ٱلۡغَفُورُ الْغَفُوْرُ the Oft-Forgiving Nominative · مَرْفُوع [He] who created death and life to test you [as to] which of you is best in deed - and He is the Exalted in Might, the Forgiving -
Ayah 3 ٱلَّذِي الَّذِيْ The One Who Relative pronoun · اِسْم مَوْصُول خَلَقَ created Perfect · Form I سَبۡعَ سَبْعَ seven Accusative · مَنْصُوب سَمَٰوَٰتٖ سَمٰوٰتٍ heavens Genitive · مَجْرُور طِبَاقٗاۖ طِبَاقًاؕ one above another Accusative · مَنْصُوب مَّا مَا Not Negative Harf · حَرْف نَفْي تَرَىٰ تَرٰي you see Imperfect · Form I فِي فِيْ in Preposition · حَرْف جَرّ خَلۡقِ خَلْقِ (the) creation Genitive · مَجْرُور ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنِ الرَّحْمٰنِ (of) the Most Gracious Genitive · مَجْرُور مِن مِنْ any Preposition · حَرْف جَرّ تَفَٰوُتٖۖ تَفٰوُتٍؕ fault Genitive · مَجْرُور فَٱرۡجِعِ فَارْجِعِ So return Imperative · Form I ٱلۡبَصَرَ الْبَصَرَۙ the vision Accusative · مَنْصُوب هَلۡ هَلْ can Interrogative Harf · حَرْف اِسْتِفْهَام تَرَىٰ تَرٰي you see Imperfect · Form I مِن مِنْ any Preposition · حَرْف جَرّ فُطُورٖ فُطُوْرٍ flaw Genitive · مَجْرُور [And] who created seven heavens in layers. You do not see in the creation of the Most Merciful any inconsistency. So return [your] vision [to the sky]; do you see any breaks?
Ayah 4 ثُمَّ Then Conjunction · حَرْف عَطْف ٱرۡجِعِ ارْجِعِ return Imperative · Form I ٱلۡبَصَرَ الْبَصَرَ the vision Accusative · مَنْصُوب كَرَّتَيۡنِ كَرَّتَيْنِ twice (again) Accusative · مَنْصُوب يَنقَلِبۡ يَنْقَلِبْ Will return Imperfect · Form VII إِلَيۡكَ اِلَيْكَ to you Preposition · حَرْف جَرّ ٱلۡبَصَرُ الْبَصَرُ the vision Nominative · مَرْفُوع خَاسِئٗا خَاسِي͏ٔ͏ًا humbled Accusative · مَنْصُوب وَهُوَ وَّهُوَ while it Pronoun · ضَمِير حَسِيرٞ حَسِيْرٌ (is) fatigued Nominative · مَرْفُوع Then return [your] vision twice again. [Your] vision will return to you humbled while it is fatigued.
Ayah 5 وَلَقَدۡ وَلَقَدْ And certainly Harf of certainty · حَرْف تَحْقِيق زَيَّنَّا We have beautified Perfect · Form II ٱلسَّمَآءَ السَّمَا࢜ءَ the heaven Accusative · مَنْصُوب ٱلدُّنۡيَا الدُّنْيَا nearest Accusative · مَنْصُوب بِمَصَٰبِيحَ بِمَصَابِيْحَ with lamps Genitive · مَجْرُور وَجَعَلۡنَٰهَا وَجَعَلْنٰهَا and We have made them Perfect · Form I رُجُومٗا رُجُوْمًا (as) missiles Accusative · مَنْصُوب لِّلشَّيَٰطِينِۖ لِّلشَّيٰطِيْنِ for the devils Genitive · مَجْرُور وَأَعۡتَدۡنَا وَاَعْتَدْنَا and We have prepared Perfect · Form IV لَهُمۡ لَهُمْ for them Pronoun · ضَمِير عَذَابَ punishment Accusative · مَنْصُوب ٱلسَّعِيرِ السَّعِيْرِ (of) the Blaze Genitive · مَجْرُور And We have certainly beautified the nearest heaven with lamps [i.e., stars] and have made [from] them what is thrown at the devils and have prepared for them the punishment of the Blaze.
