The Purpose of Human Creation 1–3

Ayah 1

1. هَلۡهَلْHasInterrogative Harf · حَرْف اِسْتِفْهَام
2. أَتَىٰاَتٰي(there) comePerfect · Form I
3. عَلَىعَلَيuponPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
4. ٱلۡإِنسَٰنِالْاِنْسَانِmanGenitive · مَجْرُور
5. حِينٞحِيْنٌa periodNominative · مَرْفُوع
6. مِّنَofPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
7. ٱلدَّهۡرِالدَّهْرِtimeGenitive · مَجْرُور
8. لَمۡلَمْnotNegative Harf · حَرْف نَفْي
9. يَكُنيَكُنْhe wasImperfect · Form I
10. شَيۡـٔٗاشَيْـًٔاa thingAccusative · مَنْصُوب
11. مَّذۡكُورًامَّذْكُوْرًاmentionedAccusative · مَنْصُوب

Has there [not] come upon man a period of time when he was not a thing [even] mentioned?

Ayah 2

1. إِنَّااِنَّاIndeed, WeAccusative Harf · حَرْف نَصْب
2. خَلَقۡنَاخَلَقْنَا[We] createdPerfect · Form I
3. ٱلۡإِنسَٰنَالْاِنْسَانَmanAccusative · مَنْصُوب
4. مِنمِنْfromPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
5. نُّطۡفَةٍنُّطْفَةٍa semen-dropGenitive · مَجْرُور
6. أَمۡشَاجٖاَمْشَاجٍࣗۖa mixtureGenitive · مَجْرُور
7. نَّبۡتَلِيهِنَّبْتَلِيْهِ(that) We test himImperfect · Form VIII
8. فَجَعَلۡنَٰهُفَجَعَلْنٰهُso We made (for) himPerfect · Form I
9. سَمِيعَۢاسَمِيْعًاۢhearingAccusative · مَنْصُوب
10. بَصِيرًابَصِيْرًاand sightAccusative · مَنْصُوب

Indeed, We created man from a sperm-drop mixture that We may try him; and We made him hearing and seeing.

Ayah 3

1. إِنَّااِنَّاIndeed, WeAccusative Harf · حَرْف نَصْب
2. هَدَيۡنَٰهُهَدَيْنٰهُguided himPerfect · Form I
3. ٱلسَّبِيلَالسَّبِيْلَ(to) the wayAccusative · مَنْصُوب
4. إِمَّااِمَّاwhetherExplanation Harf · حَرْف تَفْصِيل
5. شَاكِرٗاشَاكِرًا(he) be gratefulAccusative · مَنْصُوب
6. وَإِمَّاوَّاِمَّاand whetherExplanation Harf · حَرْف تَفْصِيل
7. كَفُورًاكَفُوْرًا(he) be ungratefulAccusative · مَنْصُوب

Indeed, We guided him to the way, be he grateful or be he ungrateful.

Fates of the Disbelievers and the Virtuous 4–6

Ayah 4

1. إِنَّآاِنَّا͏ٓIndeed, WeAccusative Harf · حَرْف نَصْب
2. أَعۡتَدۡنَااَعْتَدْنَا[We] have preparedPerfect · Form IV
3. لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَلِلْكٰفِرِيْنَfor the disbelieversGenitive · مَجْرُور
4. سَلَٰسِلَاْسَلٰسِلَا۟chainsAccusative · مَنْصُوب
5. وَأَغۡلَٰلٗاوَاَغْلٰلًاand shacklesAccusative · مَنْصُوب
6. وَسَعِيرًاوَّسَعِيْرًاand a Blazing FireAccusative · مَنْصُوب

Indeed, We have prepared for the disbelievers chains and shackles and a blaze.

Ayah 5

1. إِنَّاِنَّIndeedAccusative Harf · حَرْف نَصْب
2. ٱلۡأَبۡرَارَالْاَبْرَارَthe righteousAccusative · مَنْصُوب
3. يَشۡرَبُونَيَشْرَبُوْنَwill drinkImperfect · Form I

5. كَأۡسٖكَاْسٍa cupGenitive · مَجْرُور
6. كَانَisPerfect · Form I
7. مِزَاجُهَاits mixtureNominative · مَرْفُوع
8. كَافُورًاكَافُوْرًا(of) KafurAccusative · مَنْصُوب

Indeed, the righteous will drink from a cup [of wine] whose mixture is of Kāfūr,

Ayah 6

1. عَيۡنٗاعَيْنًاA spring Accusative · مَنْصُوب
2. يَشۡرَبُيَّشْرَبُwill drinkImperfect · Form I
3. بِهَاfrom itPronoun · ضَمِير
4. عِبَادُ(the) slavesNominative · مَرْفُوع
5. ٱللَّهِاللّٰهِ(of) AllahGenitive · مَجْرُور
6. يُفَجِّرُونَهَايُفَجِّرُوْنَهَاcausing it to gush forthImperfect · Form II
7. تَفۡجِيرٗاتَفْجِيْرًاabundantlyAccusative · مَنْصُوب

A spring of which the [righteous] servants of Allāh will drink; they will make it gush forth in force [and abundance].

Feeding the Poor for Allah 7–10

Ayah 7

1. يُوفُونَيُوْفُوْنَThey fulfillImperfect · Form IV
2. بِٱلنَّذۡرِبِالنَّذْرِthe vowsGenitive · مَجْرُور
3. وَيَخَافُونَوَيَخَافُوْنَand fearImperfect · Form I
4. يَوۡمٗايَوْمًاa Day Accusative · مَنْصُوب
5. كَانَ(which) isPerfect · Form I
6. شَرُّهُۥشَرُّهٗits evilNominative · مَرْفُوع
7. مُسۡتَطِيرٗامُسْتَطِيْرًاwidespreadAccusative · مَنْصُوب

They [are those who] fulfill [their] vows and fear a Day whose evil will be widespread.
