A Description of Hell 1–7

Ayah 1

1. هَلۡهَلْHasInterrogative Harf · حَرْف اِسْتِفْهَام
2. أَتَىٰكَاَتٰىكَ(there) come to youPerfect · Form I
3. حَدِيثُحَدِيْثُ(the) newsNominative · مَرْفُوع
4. ٱلۡغَٰشِيَةِالْغَاشِيَةِ(of) the OverwhelmingGenitive · مَجْرُور

Has there reached you the report of the Overwhelming [event]?

Ayah 2

1. وُجُوهٞوُجُوْهٌFacesNominative · مَرْفُوع
2. يَوۡمَئِذٍيَّوْمَىِٕذٍthat DayTime adverb · ظَرْف زَمَان
3. خَٰشِعَةٌخَاشِعَةٌ(will be) humbledNominative · مَرْفُوع

[Some] faces, that Day, will be humbled,

Ayah 3

1. عَامِلَةٞعَامِلَةٌLaboringNominative · مَرْفُوع
2. نَّاصِبَةٞنَّاصِبَةٌexhaustedNominative · مَرْفُوع

Working [hard] and exhausted.

Ayah 4

1. تَصۡلَىٰتَصْلٰيThey will burnImperfect · Form I
2. نَارًا(in) a FireAccusative · مَنْصُوب
3. حَامِيَةٗحَامِيَةًintensely hotAccusative · مَنْصُوب

They will [enter to] burn in an intensely hot Fire.

Ayah 5

1. تُسۡقَىٰتُسْقٰيThey will be given to drinkImperfect · Form I
2. مِنۡمِنْfromPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
3. عَيۡنٍعَيْنٍa springGenitive · مَجْرُور
4. ءَانِيَةٖاٰنِيَةٍboilingGenitive · مَجْرُور

They will be given drink from a boiling spring.

Ayah 6

1. لَّيۡسَلَيْسَNot isPerfect · Form I
2. لَهُمۡلَهُمْfor themPronoun · ضَمِير
3. طَعَامٌfoodNominative · مَرْفُوع
4. إِلَّااِلَّاexceptExceptive Harf · أَدَاة اِسْتِثْنَاء
5. مِنمِنْfromPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
6. ضَرِيعٖضَرِيْعٍa bitter thorny plantGenitive · مَجْرُور

For them there will be no food except from a poisonous, thorny plant

Ayah 7

2. يُسۡمِنُيُسْمِنُit nourishesImperfect · Form IV
3. وَلَاand notNegative Harf · حَرْف نَفْي
4. يُغۡنِييُغْنِيْit availsImperfect · Form IV

Which neither nourishes nor avails against hunger.

A Description of Paradise 8–16

Ayah 8

1. وُجُوهٞوُجُوْهٌFacesNominative · مَرْفُوع
2. يَوۡمَئِذٖيَّوْمَىِٕذٍthat DayTime adverb · ظَرْف زَمَان
3. نَّاعِمَةٞنَّاعِمَةٌ(will be) joyfulNominative · مَرْفُوع

[Other] faces, that Day, will show pleasure.

Ayah 9

1. لِّسَعۡيِهَالِّسَعْيِهَاWith their effortGenitive · مَجْرُور
2. رَاضِيَةٞرَاضِيَةٌsatisfiedNominative · مَرْفُوع

With their effort [they are] satisfied

Ayah 10

1. فِيفِيْInPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
2. جَنَّةٍa gardenGenitive · مَجْرُور
3. عَالِيَةٖعَالِيَةٍelevatedGenitive · مَجْرُور

In an elevated garden,

Ayah 11

1. لَّاNotNegative Harf · حَرْف نَفْي
2. تَسۡمَعُتَسْمَعُthey will hearImperfect · Form I
3. فِيهَافِيْهَاthereinPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
4. لَٰغِيَةٗلَاغِيَةًvain talkAccusative · مَنْصُوب

Wherein they will hear no unsuitable speech.

Ayah 12

1. فِيهَافِيْهَاThereinPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
2. عَيۡنٞعَيْنٌ(will be) a springNominative · مَرْفُوع
3. جَارِيَةٞجَارِيَةٌflowingNominative · مَرْفُوع

Within it is a flowing spring.

Ayah 13

1. فِيهَافِيْهَاThereinPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
2. سُرُرٞسُرُرٌ(will be) thronesNominative · مَرْفُوع
3. مَّرۡفُوعَةٞمَّرْفُوْعَةٌraised highNominative · مَرْفُوع

Within it are couches raised high

Ayah 14

1. وَأَكۡوَابٞوَّاَكْوَابٌAnd cupsNominative · مَرْفُوع
2. مَّوۡضُوعَةٞمَّوْضُوْعَةٌput in placeNominative · مَرْفُوع

And cups put in place

Ayah 15

1. وَنَمَارِقُوَّنَمَارِقُAnd cushionsNominative · مَرْفُوع
2. مَصۡفُوفَةٞمَصْفُوْفَةٌlined upNominative · مَرْفُوع

And cushions lined up

Ayah 16

1. وَزَرَابِيُّوَّزَرَابِيُّAnd carpetsNominative · مَرْفُوع
2. مَبۡثُوثَةٌمَبْثُوْثَةٌspread outNominative · مَرْفُوع

And carpets spread around.

Signs of Allah in Nature 17–20

Ayah 17

1. أَفَلَااَفَلَاThen do notNegative Harf · حَرْف نَفْي
2. يَنظُرُونَيَنْظُرُوْنَthey lookImperfect · Form I
3. إِلَىاِلَيtowardsPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
4. ٱلۡإِبِلِالْاِبِلِthe camelsGenitive · مَجْرُور
5. كَيۡفَكَيْفَhowIsm · اِسْم
6. خُلِقَتۡخُلِقَتْthey are createdPerfect · Form I

Then do they not look at the camels - how they are created?
