The Purpose of the Quran's Revelation 1–3

Ayah 1

1. طهطٰهٰTa HaQuranic initials · حُرُوف مُقَطَّعَة

Ṭā, Hā.

Ayah 2

1. مَآمَا͏ٓNotNegative Harf · حَرْف نَفْي
2. أَنزَلۡنَااَنْزَلْنَاWe (have) sent downPerfect · Form IV
3. عَلَيۡكَعَلَيْكَto youPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
4. ٱلۡقُرۡءَانَالْقُرْاٰنَthe QuranAccusative · مَنْصُوب
5. لِتَشۡقَىٰٓلِتَشْقٰٓيthat you be distressedImperfect · Form I

We have not sent down to you the Qur’ān that you be distressed

Ayah 3

1. إِلَّااِلَّا(But)Restriction Harf · أَدَاة حَصْر
2. تَذۡكِرَةٗتَذْكِرَةً(as) a reminderAccusative · مَنْصُوب
3. لِّمَنلِّمَنْfor (those) whoRelative pronoun · اِسْم مَوْصُول
4. يَخۡشَىٰيَّخْشٰيfearImperfect · Form I

But only as a reminder for those who fear [Allāh] -

The Majesty of the Revealer 4–8

Ayah 4

1. تَنزِيلٗاتَنْزِيْلًاA revelationAccusative · مَنْصُوب
2. مِّمَّنۡمِّمَّنْfrom (He) WhoPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
3. خَلَقَcreatedPerfect · Form I
4. ٱلۡأَرۡضَالْاَرْضَthe earthAccusative · مَنْصُوب
5. وَٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِوَالسَّمٰوٰتِand the heavensAccusative · مَنْصُوب
6. ٱلۡعُلَىالْعُلٰي[the] highAccusative · مَنْصُوب

A revelation from He who created the earth and highest heavens,

Ayah 5

1. ٱلرَّحۡمَٰنُاَلرَّحْمٰنُThe Most GraciousNominative · مَرْفُوع
2. عَلَىعَلَيoverPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
3. ٱلۡعَرۡشِالْعَرْشِthe ThroneGenitive · مَجْرُور
4. ٱسۡتَوَىٰاسْتَوٰيis establishedPerfect · Form VIII

The Most Merciful [who is] above the Throne established.

Ayah 6

1. لَهُۥلَهٗTo Him (belongs)Pronoun · ضَمِير
2. مَاwhateverRelative pronoun · اِسْم مَوْصُول
3. فِي(is) inPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
4. ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتِالسَّمٰوٰتِthe heavensGenitive · مَجْرُور
5. وَمَاand whateverRelative pronoun · اِسْم مَوْصُول
6. فِي(is) inPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
7. ٱلۡأَرۡضِالْاَرْضِthe earthGenitive · مَجْرُور
8. وَمَاand whateverRelative pronoun · اِسْم مَوْصُول
9. بَيۡنَهُمَابَيْنَهُمَا(is) between themAccusative · مَنْصُوب
10. وَمَاand whateverRelative pronoun · اِسْم مَوْصُول
11. تَحۡتَتَحْتَ(is) underAccusative · مَنْصُوب
12. ٱلثَّرَىٰالثَّرٰيthe soilGenitive · مَجْرُور

To Him belongs what is in the heavens and what is on the earth and what is between them and what is under the soil.

Ayah 7

1. وَإِنوَاِنْAnd ifConditional Harf · حَرْف شَرْط
2. تَجۡهَرۡتَجْهَرْyou speak aloudImperfect · Form I
3. بِٱلۡقَوۡلِبِالْقَوْلِthe wordGenitive · مَجْرُور
4. فَإِنَّهُۥفَاِنَّهٗthen indeed, HeAccusative Harf · حَرْف نَصْب
5. يَعۡلَمُيَعْلَمُknowsImperfect · Form I
6. ٱلسِّرَّالسِّرَّthe secretAccusative · مَنْصُوب
7. وَأَخۡفَىوَاَخْفٰيand the more hiddenAccusative · مَنْصُوب

And if you speak aloud - then indeed, He knows the secret and what is [even] more hidden.

Ayah 8

1. ٱللَّهُاَللّٰهُAllah Nominative · مَرْفُوع
2. لَآلَا͏ٓ(there is) noNegative Harf · حَرْف نَفْي
3. إِلَٰهَاِلٰهَgodAccusative · مَنْصُوب
4. إِلَّااِلَّاexceptRestriction Harf · أَدَاة حَصْر
5. هُوَۖهُوَؕHimPronoun · ضَمِير
6. لَهُTo Him (belong)Pronoun · ضَمِير
7. ٱلۡأَسۡمَآءُالْاَسْمَا࢜ءُthe NamesNominative · مَرْفُوع
8. ٱلۡحُسۡنَىٰالْحُسْنٰيthe Most BeautifulNominative · مَرْفُوع

Allāh - there is no deity except Him. To Him belong the best names.

Moses in the Sacred Valley 9–12

Ayah 9

1. وَهَلۡوَهَلْAnd hasInterrogative Harf · حَرْف اِسْتِفْهَام
2. أَتَىٰكَاَتٰىكَcome to youPerfect · Form I
3. حَدِيثُحَدِيْثُthe narrationNominative · مَرْفُوع
4. مُوسَىٰٓمُوْسٰي(of) MusaGenitive · مَجْرُور

And has the story of Moses reached you? -
