Ayah 1 بَرَآءَةٞ بَرَا࢜ءَةٌ Freedom from obligations Nominative · مَرْفُوع مِّنَ from Preposition · حَرْف جَرّ ٱللَّهِ اللّٰهِ Allah Genitive · مَجْرُور وَرَسُولِهِۦٓ وَرَسُوْلِهٖٓ and His Messenger Genitive · مَجْرُور إِلَى اِلَي to Preposition · حَرْف جَرّ ٱلَّذِينَ الَّذِيْنَ those (with) whom Relative pronoun · اِسْم مَوْصُول عَٰهَدتُّم عٰهَدْتُّمْ you made a covenant Perfect · Form III مِّنَ from Preposition · حَرْف جَرّ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَ the polytheists Genitive · مَجْرُور [This is a declaration of] disassociation, from Allāh and His Messenger, to those with whom you had made a treaty among the polytheists.
Ayah 2 فَسِيحُواْ فَسِيْحُوْا So move about Imperative · Form I فِي in Preposition · حَرْف جَرّ ٱلۡأَرۡضِ الْاَرْضِ the land Genitive · مَجْرُور أَرۡبَعَةَ اَرْبَعَةَ (during) four Accusative · مَنْصُوب أَشۡهُرٖ اَشْهُرٍ months Genitive · مَجْرُور وَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ وَّاعْلَمُوْٓا but know Imperative · Form I أَنَّكُمۡ اَنَّكُمْ that you Accusative Harf · حَرْف نَصْب غَيۡرُ غَيْرُ (can) not Nominative · مَرْفُوع مُعۡجِزِي مُعْجِزِي escape Nominative · مَرْفُوع ٱللَّهِ اللّٰهِۙ Allah Genitive · مَجْرُور وَأَنَّ وَاَنَّ and that Accusative Harf · حَرْف نَصْب ٱللَّهَ اللّٰهَ Allah Accusative · مَنْصُوب مُخۡزِي مُخْزِي (is) the One Who (will) disgrace Genitive · مَجْرُور ٱلۡكَٰفِرِينَ الْكٰفِرِيْنَ the disbelievers Genitive · مَجْرُور So travel freely, [O disbelievers], throughout the land [during] four months but know that you cannot cause failure to Allāh and that Allāh will disgrace the disbelievers.
Ayah 3 وَأَذَٰنٞ وَاَذَانٌ And an announcement Nominative · مَرْفُوع مِّنَ from Allah Preposition · حَرْف جَرّ ٱللَّهِ اللّٰهِ from Allah Genitive · مَجْرُور وَرَسُولِهِۦٓ وَرَسُوْلِهٖٓ and His Messenger Genitive · مَجْرُور إِلَى اِلَي to Preposition · حَرْف جَرّ ٱلنَّاسِ النَّاسِ the people Genitive · مَجْرُور يَوۡمَ يَوْمَ (on the) day Accusative · مَنْصُوب ٱلۡحَجِّ الْحَجِّ (of) the greater Pilgrimage Genitive · مَجْرُور ٱلۡأَكۡبَرِ الْاَكْبَرِ (of) the greater Pilgrimage Genitive · مَجْرُور أَنَّ اَنَّ that Accusative Harf · حَرْف نَصْب ٱللَّهَ اللّٰهَ Allah Accusative · مَنْصُوب بَرِيٓءٞ بَرِيْ࢜ءٌ (is) free from obligations Nominative · مَرْفُوع مِّنَ [of] Preposition · حَرْف جَرّ ٱلۡمُشۡرِكِينَ الْمُشْرِكِيْنَۙ (to) the polytheists Genitive · مَجْرُور وَرَسُولُهُۥۚ وَرَسُوْلُهٗؕ and (so is) His Messenger Nominative · مَرْفُوع فَإِن فَاِنْ So if Conditional Harf · حَرْف شَرْط تُبۡتُمۡ تُبْتُمْ you repent Perfect · Form I فَهُوَ then, it is Pronoun · ضَمِير خَيۡرٞ خَيْرٌ best Nominative · مَرْفُوع لَّكُمۡۖ لَّكُمْۚ for you Pronoun · ضَمِير وَإِن وَاِنْ But if Conditional Harf · حَرْف شَرْط تَوَلَّيۡتُمۡ تَوَلَّيْتُمْ you turn away Perfect · Form V فَٱعۡلَمُوٓاْ فَاعْلَمُوْٓا then know Imperative · Form I أَنَّكُمۡ اَنَّكُمْ that you Accusative Harf · حَرْف نَصْب غَيۡرُ غَيْرُ (can) not Nominative · مَرْفُوع مُعۡجِزِي مُعْجِزِي escape Nominative · مَرْفُوع ٱللَّهِۗ اللّٰهِؕ Allah Genitive · مَجْرُور وَبَشِّرِ And give glad tidings Imperative · Form II ٱلَّذِينَ الَّذِيْنَ (to) those who Relative pronoun · اِسْم مَوْصُول كَفَرُواْ كَفَرُوْا disbelieve Perfect · Form I بِعَذَابٍ of a punishment Genitive · مَجْرُور أَلِيمٍ اَلِيْمٍ painful Genitive · مَجْرُور And [it is] an announcement from Allāh and His Messenger to the people on the day of the greater pilgrimage that Allāh is disassociated from the disbelievers, and [so is] His Messenger. So if you repent, that is best for you; but if you turn away - then know that you will not cause failure to Allāh. And give tidings to those who disbelieve of a painful punishment.
