Allah's Gifts to the Prophet 1–4

Ayah 1

1. أَلَمۡاَلَمْHave notNegative Harf · حَرْف نَفْي

Did We not expand for you, [O Muḥammad], your breast?

Ayah 2

1. وَوَضَعۡنَاوَوَضَعْنَاAnd We removedPerfect · Form I
2. عَنكَعَنْكَfrom youPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
3. وِزۡرَكَوِزْرَكَyour burdenAccusative · مَنْصُوب

And We removed from you your burden

Ayah 3

1. ٱلَّذِيٓالَّذِيْٓWhichRelative pronoun · اِسْم مَوْصُول
2. أَنقَضَاَنْقَضَweighed uponPerfect · Form IV
3. ظَهۡرَكَظَهْرَكَyour backAccusative · مَنْصُوب

Which had weighed upon your back

Ayah 4

1. وَرَفَعۡنَاوَرَفَعْنَاAnd We raised highPerfect · Form I

3. ذِكۡرَكَذِكْرَكَyour reputationAccusative · مَنْصُوب

And raised high for you your repute.

Allah's Promise of Relief in Hardship 5–6

Ayah 5

1. فَإِنَّفَاِنَّSo indeedAccusative Harf · حَرْف نَصْب
2. مَعَwithAccusative · مَنْصُوب
3. ٱلۡعُسۡرِالْعُسْرِthe hardshipGenitive · مَجْرُور
4. يُسۡرًايُسْرًا(is) easeAccusative · مَنْصُوب

For indeed, with hardship [will be] ease [i.e., relief].

Ayah 6

Indeed, with hardship [will be] ease.

Devotion After Work 7–8

Ayah 7

1. فَإِذَافَاِذَاSo whenTime adverb · ظَرْف زَمَان
2. فَرَغۡتَفَرَغْتَyou have finishedPerfect · Form I
3. فَٱنصَبۡفَانْصَبْthen labor hardImperative · Form I

So when you have finished [your duties], then stand up [for worship].

Ayah 8

1. وَإِلَىٰوَاِلٰيAnd toPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
2. رَبِّكَyour LordGenitive · مَجْرُور
3. فَٱرۡغَبفَارْغَبْturn your attentionImperative · Form I

And to your Lord direct [your] longing.
