The Night of Decree 1–5

Ayah 1

1. إِنَّآاِنَّا͏ٓIndeed, WeAccusative Harf · حَرْف نَصْب
2. أَنزَلۡنَٰهُاَنْزَلْنٰهُrevealed itPerfect · Form IV
3. فِيفِيْinPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
4. لَيۡلَةِلَيْلَةِ(the) NightGenitive · مَجْرُور
5. ٱلۡقَدۡرِالْقَدْرِ(of) PowerGenitive · مَجْرُور

Indeed, We sent it [i.e., the Qur’ān] down during the Night of Decree.

Ayah 2

1. وَمَآوَمَا͏ٓAnd whatInterrogative noun · اِسْم اِسْتِفْهَام
2. أَدۡرَىٰكَاَدْرٰىكَcan make you knowPerfect · Form IV
3. مَاwhatInterrogative noun · اِسْم اِسْتِفْهَام
4. لَيۡلَةُلَيْلَةُ(the) NightNominative · مَرْفُوع
5. ٱلۡقَدۡرِالْقَدْرِ(of) Power (is)Genitive · مَجْرُور

And what can make you know what is the Night of Decree?

Ayah 3

1. لَيۡلَةُلَيْلَةُ(The) NightNominative · مَرْفُوع
2. ٱلۡقَدۡرِالْقَدْرِ࣢ۙ(of) PowerGenitive · مَجْرُور
3. خَيۡرٞخَيْرٌ(is) betterNominative · مَرْفُوع
4. مِّنۡمِّنْthanPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
5. أَلۡفِاَلْفِa thousandGenitive · مَجْرُور
6. شَهۡرٖشَهْرٍmonth(s)Genitive · مَجْرُور

The Night of Decree is better than a thousand months.

Ayah 4

1. تَنَزَّلُDescendImperfect · Form V
2. ٱلۡمَلَٰٓئِكَةُالْمَلٰ࢜ىِٕكَةُthe AngelsNominative · مَرْفُوع
3. وَٱلرُّوحُوَالرُّوْحُand the SpiritNominative · مَرْفُوع
4. فِيهَافِيْهَاthereinPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
5. بِإِذۡنِبِاِذْنِby (the) permissionGenitive · مَجْرُور
6. رَبِّهِمرَبِّهِمْۚ(of) their LordGenitive · مَجْرُور
7. مِّنمِنْforPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
8. كُلِّeveryGenitive · مَجْرُور
9. أَمۡرٖاَمْرٍaffairGenitive · مَجْرُور

The angels and the Spirit [i.e., Gabriel] descend therein by permission of their Lord for every matter.

Ayah 5

1. سَلَٰمٌسَلٰمٌࣞۛPeaceNominative · مَرْفُوع
2. هِيَit (is)Pronoun · ضَمِير
3. حَتَّىٰحَتّٰيuntilPreposition · حَرْف جَرّ
4. مَطۡلَعِمَطْلَعِ(the) emergenceGenitive · مَجْرُور
5. ٱلۡفَجۡرِالْفَجْرِ(of) the dawnGenitive · مَجْرُور

Peace it is until the emergence of dawn.
